The Things That Do Not Burn
The Things That Do Not Burn // Las Cosas Que No Se Queman
Last December The Hearth and De La Raíz worked together to offer an evening of stories and songs in the wake of the Almeda fires. Focused on tales of resiliency, The Things That Do Not Burn/Las Cosas Que No Se Queman presented six stories by local Spanish and English speaking residents. This unique community event, hosted by Mark Yaconelli and Erica Ledesma, is now available to watch at your convenience with translations in both Spanish and English.
So many of our neighbors are still suffering from the destruction of recent fires. We hope that this event will continue to inspire all of us to respond with care and generosity.
